Washington, D.C. – The Nakupuna Companies have earned a Top 5 spot on The Washington Post’s 2025 Top Workplaces list, ranking 4th among large employers in the D.C. region. This is the second consecutive year Nakupuna has placed in the Top 5, and the fifth time the company has been honored by The Washington Post for its outstanding workplace culture.
This is Nakupuna’s eighth Top Workplaces award overall, including recent honors from The Denver Post, and a #1 ranking in 2024 in their category from both the Washington Post and Top Workplaces Hawaii.

Selection for Top Workplaces is based solely on employee feedback gathered through an anonymous third-party survey distributed through technology partner Energage. The survey measured employees’ perceptions of Nakupuna’s culture, including alignment, execution, and connection to its purpose and values. Results were benchmarked against hundreds of companies across various industries and grouped by organization size within the region.
