Director of IT and Facilities
Chris Grocki is the Director of IT and Facilities and has been with the Nakupuna Companies since 2018.
Chris brings nearly twenty years of experience supporting program management, financial planning, and portfolio management. He currently manages the Information Technology and Facilities Departments for all Nakupuna Companies within our Shared Services team. He is responsible for ensuring our employees have the technology and workspace required to deliver extraordinary results for our clients. Chris has overseen multiple office space procurements and buildouts as the Nakupuna Companies have rapidly grown. He is also responsible for the hardware and software procurement, employment, and maintenance that keeps our companies ahead of requirements. Chris previously managed operations for one of our largest contracts delivering an enterprise software implementation for the US Navy, assisting in successfully scaling that team from a small pilot to full-scale development.
Prior to joining the Nakupuna Companies, Chris served in the U.S. Navy in both Fleet and Acquisition roles. As a Naval Aviator, he flew over 200 hours in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom. Following his military service, Chris served in multiple consulting roles supporting the Navy in OPNAV N4, NAVSEA, and NAVAIR.
Chris earned his master’s degree in Business Administration from The George Washington University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Duke University. Chris is also certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
Chris is an obsessive Duke basketball fan who developed his love of camping as a freshman living in Krzyzewskiville.
