Ret Grady
Ret Grady is Chief Human Resources Officer and has been with the Nakupuna Companies since May 2024.
Ret focuses on optimizing Nakupuna’s Human Resources structure to support growth and drive more efficient customer service throughout Nakupuna. Leveraging her experience guiding HR teams through periods of high growth, Ret oversees process improvement initiatives to ensure Nakupuna’s entire workforce is supported by a robust and effective HR team.
Prior to joining Nakupuna, Ret spent over 18 years leading HR teams through expansive growth at other government consulting firms, including an Alaska Native Corporation. Through this work, she orchestrated process improvement initiatives to help manage large contract transitions, overcome internal HR challenges, establish compensation strategies, deploy strategic recruiting improvements, and implement Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
Ret holds two bachelor’s degrees in psychology and business management from Virginia Tech. She also holds three certifications including Global Professional in HR (GPHR), Senior Professional HR (SPHR) and SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

As an avid rescuer of animals, Ret currently has 8 kitties all named after Gone with the Wind characters.
