Wain Iwaki
Wain Iwaki is the Vice President for Na Aliʻi and has been with the Nakupuna Companies since 2014.
Wain’s primary role with the Nakupuna Companies is overseeing all facilities support services provided to our customers and supporting business development efforts from a program management and capture perspective. Wain is passionate about building strong relationships, collaborative teams, and delivering exceptional value to our clients. He is proud to be part of the Nakupuna Companies team and is excited about driving its future success.
Wain began his professional career as a computer programmer in the U.S. Air Force. He completed his military career and retired from the Hawaii Air National Guard after 22 years of distinguished service. Wain’s private sector career consisted of mid and executive management positions in various local and national IT sales and integration companies, where he managed business operations, engineering, and business development. In 2010, he joined the PCED family of companies, where he met the founder of Na Aliʻi (the first Nakupuna Company) and together they worked to acquire and manage millions of dollars in Department of Defense contracts.
One of Wain’s give backs to the Native Hawaiian Community is volunteering his time assisting in the restoration of the Malama Loko Ea Native Hawaiian Fishpond. He and his family have spent many productive days there working the aina (land), enjoying the camaraderie, and building new relationships.
Wain earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Roosevelt University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

At Wain’s wedding, his wife danced hula and he was the lead singer.
