Jim Johnson
Jim Johnson is a Senior Manager and has been with the Nakupuna Companies since October 2017.
Jim has over 20 years of leadership and supply chain experience, both as a U.S. Navy Supply Corps officer and a civilian. Since joining the Nakupuna Companies, Jim has spearheaded several business process reengineering projects focused on Navy supply chain optimizations and improvements. He is currently responsible for inventory accountability projects supporting the Navy’s financial audit preparations. He is also involved in business development efforts and is eager to find opportunities where he can use his Navy and Department of Defense experience to expand our service offerings and benefit our clients and partners.
Prior to joining the Nakupuna Companies, Jim served the Navy in key leadership roles ashore and afloat, completing his career in uniform as the Director for International Programs with the Naval Supply Systems Command. After leaving the Navy, Jim worked for a large consulting firm supporting the Office of the Secretary of Defense on supply chain policy matters.
Jim earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Accounting from Bethel University. Additionally, he completed the Senior Executive Program at Columbia Business School and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Jim is an amateur historian and loves to walk the battlefield at Gettysburg. He also enjoys skiing and hiking.
