Jason Kennickell
Jason Kennickell is the Director of Nakupuna Labs (NLabs) and has been with Nakupuna Companies since 2021.
As head of NLabs, Jason leads Nakupuna’s in-house innovation team in pursuit of creating innovative customer solutions through a culture of agility and creativity—turning challenges into opportunities to deliver exceptional value. Working directly with leadership, project teams, and customers, Jason helps NLabs identify and deploy cutting-edge technology solutions tailored to address unique and emergent challenges. Through emphasizing creativity, agility, and exploration, Jason helps enable the NLabs team to experiment and test new ideas to ensure they can generate maximum value for our clients.
Prior to joining Nakupuna, Jason managed information design service offerings for two different companies, where he specialized in data visualization, business intelligence, and graphic design. Before government consulting, Jason served in the United States Army as an Armor Officer.
Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in information systems from The Citadel, as well as a master’s degree in financial management and information systems from The University of Maryland, University College. Jason is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Jason’s creative outlet outside of work is through woodworking. He enjoys designing and building custom projects from the ground up.
