Andrea Zito
Andrea Zito is the Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer and has been with the Nakupuna Companies since 2018.
Andrea brings to the Nakupuna Companies a toolbox of human resources experience that includes execution of compliance audits, business process improvement initiatives, organizational culture promotion, and employee career development and planning techniques. She uses her passion for teamwork and open communication to collectively support the full Nakupuna employee family through all aspects of the employee lifecycle: organizational development, talent management, recruiting, employee engagement, and retention. Andrea is dedicated to ensuring that the Nakupuna Companies are a great place to work for each employee – a workplace that embraces the aloha spirit.
Prior to joining the Nakupuna Companies, Andrea began her career in the government consulting field in 2010, working as a human capital specialist and then director of human capital. This career tenure includes an invaluable track record of working alongside Executive Leadership, ensuring success in the areas of employee relations, strategic planning, workforce management, federal and local regulatory compliance, talent acquisition, and total rewards planning.
Andrea earned her master’s degree in History from Virginia Commonwealth University and holds a bachelor’s degree in History from Longwood University. She is dedicated to continual learning and advancement in the human resources field and is a Senior Certified Professional through the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP).
