Nakupuna Cheif Customer Success Officer Dan NegaArlington, VA – The Nakupuna Companies are proud to announce that Dan Nega has joined our organization as the Chief Customer Success Officer, a new executive-level position focused on strengthening client relationships and developing strategies to support growth while ensuring our customers continue to benefit from exceptional service delivery across all our lines of business.

Mr. Nega joins Nakupuna after 34 years as a civil servant within the Department of the Navy. He spent 14 of those years as a member of the Senior Executive Service, holding various leadership roles before retiring in 2020 as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (DASN) for Air Programs. Throughout his career, Mr. Nega has worked across a broad range of specialties including aerospace engineering, logistics, aviation readiness, cost estimating, project management, strategic planning, and business process transformation.

Mr. Nega earned a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Michigan and holds a Certificate in Executive Leadership from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flager Business School. During his career in government, he graduated from the NAVAIR Senior Executive Management Development Program and was also awarded the Department of the Navy’s Meritorious Civilian Service Award and the Presidential Rank Award for Meritorious Executive.
